CADT was founded by Josep Queraltó together with a team of experts in computer science, textile design and analysis, with the goal to develop the best lace design system for designers.
The first version of SAPO1.0 ('Computer Aided Drafting System') was born with the objective of automating the drafting process. The software success made its sales extended worldwide.
In order to offer more services to the customers, the Drafting Department was created. So, in addition to offering design services, new versions of the SAPO drafting system could be tested and improved. From that moment, the company started to grow in both design and software areas.
CADT started its participation in the textile industry shows, with its first booth at Interfilière Lyon (France). The SAPO system popularity went up and the most important companies were interested in it. The Drafting Department was also a success and the customers appreciated our delicate work.
In 2005, with the launch of the latest Karl Mayer technology for Raschel machines, CADT became a Karl Mayer System partner and SAPO became an authorized drafting system for Karl Mayer machines.
Since our beginnings, we have earned the trust of many companies around the world, which has allowed us to continue with our excellent service towards our customers. Until now, our company has satisfied customers from more than 20 countries, we attend at several events per year, like Interfilière, Première Vision and TexWorld, and we attend at the ITMA show since 2011, presenting our news.
